MCS medical concept solutions GmbH plans, develops, designs and distributes sophisticated holding systems, cable solutions, special solutions and accessories for emergency medical technology. Since its foundation in 2012, the Wetzlar-based company has developed into an internationally active and very successful premium brand manufacturer.

MCS medical concept solutions GmbH was founded in 2012, the experience of the company’s founder includes more than 20 years of work in the field of medical technology. Among other things, Schaub worked internationally as Manager of Regulatory Affairs and also developed solutions in the field of electrical nerve and muscle stimulation. „Finding technically sophisticated solutions and developing modern medical technology has excited me for as long as I can remember. Being able to play a part in saving or sustainably improving people’s lives and at the same time making the work of emergency paramedics and hospital staff easier is what motivates me to get up every morning.“

Our in-house design department focuses on the realistic implementation of the products planned and developed in advance. The main focus lies on the existing safety standards. In addition, all our products meet other important features such as easy cleaning and disinfection. Since the beginning, the design department has been an integral part of MCS. For your safety!
One of our strengths is the high safety and the strong durability of our products. This is because they are manufactured according to standardized industry standards and tested accordingly. Every year, all our products undergo specified load tests. This ensures above all safety under extreme loads and conditions. Our products are thus approved for both the German and American markets. We assure you the fastest possible delivery through our trade partners and/or through our logistics center. This is another great advantage for our customers. Our central warehouse holds many systems and mounts, as well as accessories for you, which in the best case can be shipped directly to customers and partners.

By setting high standards for our products and services as well as a consistent quality policy, we meet the highest quality standards and are happy to pass these on to our customers. For manufacturers of medical devices in Europe, a corresponding quality management system is required by law. For worldwide trade, there are also further regulations and certifications with partly higher requirements, which we have firmly integrated into our quality management system.
Through regular internal audits of all operational areas, we ensure the continuous pursuit of these quality standards. MCS is independently audited by the „Notified Body“ DQS.

We market our products through our sales partners, including equipment from various manufacturers for defibrillators, ventilators, perfusers, and other medical systems, both nationally and internationally. MCS - History
Foundation with future
In 2012, the first cornerstones were laid for today's MCS medical concept solutions GmbH. At that time, the first main location was still in Schwerte and only the branch office was at the current location in Wetzlar. The idea for the foundation of the company arose from the thought to develop new systems, which should meet the constantly growing requirements in the rescue service.
Internationalization - Market entry USA
Already two years after the foundation it quickly became clear - the German or European market is no longer enough; it was not only necessary to cross the inner-European borders, but also beyond. Therefore, in 2014 MCS achieved entry to the American market for the first time - a great success!
Opening of the branch office in Wetzlar and rapid growth
In addition to the already existing product areas of mounting systems and cable solutions, MCS was able to impress in a new product area in 2016: special solutions, which are specifically designed for the individual customer. After the business had been managed mainly by the two founders Markus Schaub and Volker Lange up to that point, the first permanent employee for the design area was also hired in 2016.
MCS as a training company and relaunch of the corporate design
After numerous cooperations and an ever-growing portfolio of partners, we now also succeeded in acquiring B.Braun as a new major customer in 2018. Additionally, the focus was increasingly placed on consistent public relations work, so that above all, the popularity level of MCS medical concept solutions became greater. A new trade show booth including the presentation of the new product designs of the mounts and special solutions could attract many customers!
A special year – in every aspect
Despite the special circumstances in 2020, MCS continuously expanded its team. In addition to management, sales and construction, the team is now also complemented by its own small marketing department, which is primarily responsible for marketing the products and the company. So that, above all, the corporate design, which was only newly created in 2019, can be practically processed and implemented. The marketing department also works closely with the innovation management department, which has also been newly formed and is primarily responsible for ensuring that both the medical technology products and the internal company structures and areas are innovatively advanced and expanded.
2012 - 2013
Im Jahre 2012 wurden die ersten Grundsteine für die heutige MCS medical concept solutions GmbH gelegt.
2014-2015
Schon zwei Jahre nach der Gründung wurde schnell klar – der deutsche bzw. europäische Markt reicht schon lange nicht mehr aus; man musste nicht nur die innereuropäischen Grenzen überschreiten, sondern auch darüber hinaus. Somit erzielte MCS im Jahr 2014 erstmalig den Eintritt zum amerikanischen Markt – ein großer Erfolg!
2016-217
Zusätzlich zu den bereits bestehenden Produktbereichen der Halterungssysteme und Kabellösungen konnte MCS im Jahr 2016 mit der Einführung eines neuen Produktbereiches glänzen: Sonderlösungen, welche spezifisch auf den individuellen Kunden ausgerichtet sind.
2018-2019
Nach vielzähligen Kooperationen und einem immer weiterwachsenden Portfolio an Partnern, gelang es uns im Jahre 2018 nun auch B.Braun als neuen Großkunden zu gewinnen.
2020
Ein besonderes Jahr - in jeglicher Hinsicht
Trotz der besonderen Umstände im Jahr 2020 baute MCS sein Team kontinuierlich aus. So wird das Team neben Geschäftsführung, Vertrieb und Konstruktion nun auch durch eine eigene kleine Marketingabteilung ergänzt, die sich vor allem um die Vermarktung der Produkte und des Unternehmens kümmert. Sodass vor allem das erst im Jahr 2019 neu angelegte Corporate Design praktisch verarbeitet und umgesetzt werden kann.
